Fox Cities Stars top Oshkosh Ice Hawks to clinch Badgerland Conference boys' hockey championship

When the Fox Cities Stars initially joined the Badgerland Conference, there were skeptics who wondered if the team could compete in the respected high school hockey league.

One pessimist told coach Troy Schwehr that his Stars were "going to get killed" in the Badgerland. Instead of being a conference punching bag, it has taken just three short years for the Stars to rise to the top of the league.
