The 2023 Bill McGann Holiday Classic took on a new look with a bracketed tournament and turned out to be the best tournament in the 3 year history of the event!  Multiple overtime games and close battles highlighted the tournament at Proctor, MN’s St. Luke’s Sports and Event Center!

The event included some of Minnesota’s top Class A teams, 2 of Wisconsin’s best and a couple of storied MN Class AA programs.  Proctor High School would emerge as the Champions, their first “Billy Cup” championship in the 3 year history of the tournament, with a 5-2 come from behind victory over the #14 ranked Northern Lakes Lightning.  The back and forth game featured 5 power play goals between the 2 teams and didn’t break open until the final 5 minutes of the game!  Southwest Christian/ Richfield took home 3rd place and Brookfield(WI) were the Consolation Champions.

The 2024 tournament will take place December 26th through the 28th at The St. Luke’s Sports and Event Center in Proctor, MN.
