ALBANY, N.Y. — When Chase Blackmun was 10 years old, he received a gift from his grandfather, Mike.
It was a Sioux logo that lit up.
Blackmun hung it on his wall at home in Hudson, Wis.
"It was super cool," he said. "But it's definitely down for this weekend."
Blackmun is a senior defenseman for Notre Dame, which is taking on UND in an NCAA regional semifinal at 5 p.m. Central on Thursday in Albany's MVP Arena.
