JJ is an extremely talented hockey player. He currently leads our team with 74 points on the season and in my opinion, with his combination of speed, skill and vision is probably the most dangerous player in the state with the puck on his stick. He or Cody Menzel will end this season as the all-time single season points leader in Edgewood hockey history, while playing a schedule that is one of the toughest in the state. JJ is also a captain and played this fall with the TW U18s where he lead the team in scoring in the Elite League. He is currently tendered with the Janesville Jets of the NAHL and hopes to play D1 college hockey, something that I am confident will happen as he is already garnering some attention.
JJ has performed more than 100 hours of community service during his time at Edgewood, volunteering at places like the Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, and a local hospital.
