Hunter Leads Tigers Over Icebergs

 The game was originally scheduled for 2:10 PM, but due to some confusion was rescheduled to 4:30 PM. The Icebergs were celebrating Parent's Night, but the Tigers arrived hoping to dampen some spirits on the celebration.

The Icebergs broke the ice around the scoring column quickly, when Avery Gerothanas scored 48 seconds into the first period. Black River Falls answered at 5:18 of the first period, when Zowie Hunter and Skylar Pierce assisted on Lexie Hagan's goal to tie the game at 1. Black River Falls took the lead with 9:09 showing on the clock on a goal by Zowie Hunter with Cortney Magnuson being credited with the assist. The Tigers led 2-1 at the end of one.

Lexie Hagan was able to get another tally on the scoresheet, but this time with an assist on Zowie Hunter's second goal of the game at 4:35 of the second. The Tigers lead increased to two, when Hunter scored her third goal of the night with Courtney Magnuson collecting her second assist. Payton O'Neill scored with an assist from Hannah Long to give Black River Falls a 5-1 lead at 11:25 of the period. This concluded the scoring for the period with the Icebergs trailing by 4.

Addly Milota scored a power play goal late in the third with Arianna Stroede and Laila Howe assisting. The Tigers won the game 5-2. Jordyn Godfrey finished the game with 26 saves for the Icebergs, while Sydney Magnuson had 33 saves for the Tigers.
