Benefit walk to be held in Green Bay for Tony Navarre

Two mile walk to be held on Saturday, December 3

A benefit walk is going to be held in Green Bay on Saturday, December 3 to help support Tony Navarre, a Homestead assistant coach who has been diagnosed with leukemia.

Navarre is a 2000 graduate of Eau Claire Memorial, where he played both hockey and soccer.

This weekend, Navarre will be receiving his much needed bone marrow transplant.

The two-mile walk will begin at the Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive in Green Bay at 10:00am. The hosts are asking for a minimum donation of $20 to walk, and hot apple cider will be served. There will also be four awesome door prizes awarded.

The Homestead teams and coaches will be participating, along with many of Tony's friends.
