Nolan Holcombe’s unassisted goal 5:38 into overtime gave the Superior High School boys hockey team a 5-4 victory over the Rice Lake Warriors Tuesday night at Wessman Arena.

The Spartans, who opened the season with a 4-1 loss to the Roseville Area Wildcats Friday night at home, rallied from a three-goal deficit to improve to 1-1 on the season.
