11/26/11 Update - The word from NGIN is that the Score Live system is working correctly and gathering all of the game information being entered. The problems we are having now are with taking that information and displaying it properly on the website pages. So right now, it looks like a lot of the data is incorrect, but we are being assured that it will be corrected without having to re-enter the games.

The new season brings new functionality to our back-end statistics application. Sport NGIN Live now provides real-time scoring functionality once reserved for professional leagues.  The new release was launched this week, and we experienced a few technical glitches with the first few games entered. But once ironed out, this is a big step forward for Wisconsin Prep Hockey fans and readers.

On Saturday we were able to enter a game live from the stands using nothing but an Android-powered smart phone.  It was very easy to enter all of the game stats even though our correspondent has fat fingers.
