Lace 'em up and stick it to cancer.

From MilesforIsaac.com:

Isaac Smart is an 11 year old boy living In Waukesha, WI. He is a talented hockey and football player, as well as an avid sports fan. After several weeks of severe headaches and pain in his jaw, an MRI on Dec 15 identified a large mass behind Isaac's nasal cavity. His doctors immediately ordered a biopsy which unfortunately identified the tumor as cancerous~ Embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. Further testing on Dec 22 concluded that the cancer has spread and the tumor is fast growing. Though this is an unimaginable diagnosis for any 11 year old, Isaac has the love and support of his mom, dad, 8 year-old brother Eli and many other friends and family. He started chemotherapy on Dec 23 and was, thankfully, able to spend Christmas at home. Isaac and his family have a long, tough road ahead but are confident that, although incredibly difficult, this battle will be won.

So many have asked how you can help and it is difficult to even know right now how to answer. In addition to the physical, emotional, and spiritual struggle Isaac and his family are facing; there will be a significant financial burden as well. Isaac's parents are self-employed and insurance doesn't cover all that is needed. Please consider donating financially as you're able to offset the expenses Isaac's family will face. NO amount is too small~ ANY donation is appreciated MUCH more than you know! Absolutely 100% of these funds will go directly to the Smart family to help w expenses related to Isaacs care- except for the minimal 3% admin fee to go fund me ANY donation helps and is appreciated more than we can express- we are stronger together. Thank you!
