The team battled Mosinee in the Great Northern Conference championship game and skated away with a 5-3 win. Not only did that give Rhinelander a conference championship, it also snapped a five game losing streak to their conference rivals. Junior forward Joe Schneider helped pave the way as he buried four goals on the night.
