Head coach Chris Bembinster said the Hatchets held the lead at the end of the first period for the first time this season, but unfortunately fell behind 3 to 1 at the end of the second.
“We also won the third period 2-1, but that left us down 4-3 at the end of the game,” Bembinster stated. “We competed tonight; just small details keep haunting us. We are getting better as a team, (but) we just need to gain confidence through experience. This is a great group of kids to be around and to coach. Back to practice to prepare for our next game!”
