I help run the Kiwanis Hockey Tournament which is being held this year on December 28-30, 2011 at the Graham Arena complex in Rochester, MN. We run three separate tournaments: class AA varsity, class AA junior varsity, and class A varsity based on the Minnesota State High School League classifications.

There are 8 teams in each bracket and each team is guaranteed 3 games. We do not charge an entrance fee and we provide hotel rooms for each team for two nights (6 rooms per team per night, additional rooms are available for about $50/night if necessary).

We had a team from the class A bracket drop out last week. The timing, as you can imagine, is awful. I am feverishly trying to find a replacement team and I have been scouring Minnesota and Wisconsin looking for a team.
