Northern Edge returns to the ice, but shots won't drop in loss

Despite outshooting Northland Pines Monday night in Rhinelander, the Northern Edge girls hockey team could not find the back of the net in a 6-0 shutout loss.

It was the team’s first outing since a Dec. 19 loss to Hayward after all activities were shut down out of a precautionary quarantine. It was also the second loss to Pines this season, with the Eagles also winning Dec. 4 in Eagle River.
