Northern Edge shut out in Stevens Point road trip

The Northern Edge girls hockey team’s two-game win streak came to a screeching halt on Tuesday night, as Wisconsin Valley Union took down the Edge in a 10-0 final.

In a game played at the K.B. Willett Ice Arena in Stevens Point, Wisconsin Valley Union, made up of skaters from Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, Waupaca, Amherst, Athens, Iola Scandinavia, Pacelli, Assumption and Spencer, came out of the gates a little slow, but once Shelby Tryba found the back of the net nearly 11 minutes in, things snowballed from there as the Union evened their season mark at 3-3.
