The Eagles also lost to Bay Port 7-2 in a nonconference game last Tuesday night.
"We had a pretty nice night getting all the kids in the Tomahawk game and came away with a mixed bag of results," said Pines coach David Cox. "We proved we are not a team that can just show up and play. We had a good first period, but again struggled to string three solid periods in a row. Without a junior varsity program this season and one goaltender, it was nice to get everyone some playing time and watch some of the younger players compete."
