The start of the 2020-’21 season was a good one for the Northland Pines girls hockey team as they recovered from an early goal, scored two short-handed goals in the first period and then rolled to a 7-2 win over rival Northern Edge last Friday.
Pines head coach Patrick Schmidt said going into the season he was confident of his first and second lines’ ability to score when given the chance.
