It took a strong third period to do it, but the Northern Edge girls hockey team secured its first win of the season Monday night, downing the Medford Raiders on the road, 5-1.
Despite outshooting the Raiders 47-1 through two periods of play, the Antigo-Rhinelander-Lakeland squad held just a 2-0 advantage as the game entered the third period.
