Jablonski earns girls state tourney MVP

Senior forward gets second straight MVP

Maddie Jablonski earned the 2020 Girls state tournament MVP award this week in Madison. Last season, Jablonski and teammate Tori Nelson were named tourney co-MVPs.

Jablonski led her team to their second consecutive state title with a 5-3 win over the Metro Lynx in the championship game. The Stars beat Hudson 4-2 in the semi-final game on Thursday.

The Miss Hockey award winner was tied for first with two goals, tied for second in points with three, and ranked in a tie for eighth with a plus/minus of +2. Jablonski had a goal and a helper in the Hudson game, and scored once in the title game.

WiPH staff and selected media members participated in the voting.
