8 deserving players took home the awards again this year

Friday, March 6, at the Alliant Energy Center Expo Hall in front a surprising packed room of 250 visitors, Wisconsin Prep Hockey held our annual awards ceremony.

Goalie award name-sake Kirk Daubenspeck was in attendance to hand out his award, and 29 of the 30 nominees for the forward, defense and goalie awards were in attendance.

Normal master-of-ceremonies Mike Hammett had to go back to Janesville to broadcast the Jets hockey game, so Bill Berg Jr was tapped to fill in.

Note from Trasher: I didn't get all the names...so look below, and please send an email to: trasherdog@charter.net with the names of the players that I missed. Thanks!!
