The 5th Wisconsin high school girls’ hockey junior-senior festival will be held in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin March 21-22, 2020.

Each Sectional 2of the four WIAA sectionals will select a team consisting of 2 goalies, 6 defenders and 9 forwards following tryouts.  The tryout schedule follows.

Jr-Sr High School Girls Tryout schedule

Sectional 1 - Chippewa Falls- Tuesday March 10th (7-8pm)

Sectional 2 - Ice Hawks Arena (Stevens Point) - Monday March 9th (7:15-830pm)

Sectional 3 - Poppy Waterman (Lake Delton) - Tuesday March 10th (7-9pm)  

Sectional 4 - Arrowhead- Wednesday March 11th (8-9pm)

There is no fee to tryout. But, interested players are asked to pre-register by e-mailing Duane Woeshnick at duanewoeshnick@hotmail.com. Players should include the following: player’s name, position, graduation year, current team and current school and e-mail address.

Once selected, teams will compete in the round robin tournament. The cost to participate in the tournament is $75 which pays for the jerseys and socks that the player will keep, ice time and officials. The player must also be USA certified for the Festival.
