Once again this year, Wisconsin Prep Hockey will be handing out the following awards:

• Joe Pavelski Award (top forward)
• Davis Drewiske Award (top d-man)
• Kirk Daubenspeck Award (top goalie)
• Adam Burish Unsung Hero Award (solid player who doesn’t always have his name show up in the newspapers)

 Right now I am looking for two things:

1. Send me the name or names of deserving defensemen to add to our ballots
2. Send the name of your unsung hero (this is not a top player award) and a short write-up as to why he is deserving

Last call, end of day Saturday, February 8th. We will allow a couple extra days for the Burish nominations.
