KMMO Nets 3 to 1 Victory

After two hard fought, back and forth periods, the Lasers put 23 shots on the Waupun goaltender to close out the contest and secure a 3 to 1 victory.

The first period showcased great defense and goalkeeping.  With one minute remaining in the 1st period, KMMO went on their first power play.  With one second remaining, Matthew Metsa netted his first goal of the season on a great wrist shot.  The goal was assisted by Hunter Santos and Jake Cartland.

The Lasers struck quickly in the third period scoring two goals.  Steve Stemberger won a hard fought board battle to assist Zach Romsos for his second goal of the year.   Kyle Santos manufactured a great offensive rush and finished with a nice backhand shot for the Lasers third and final goal of the game.

KMMO is now 3-0 on the season.  The Lasers have their first conference game against Arrowhead on Tuesday December 10th at Naga-Wakuee Ice Arena.
