MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) A dozen Madison-area students raised more than $200,000 in the fight against blood cancers for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Wisconsin. The big winner of the night was Ava Jambor of Middleton. Her team, "Noah's Army," raised more than $50,000.

Jambor was named the 2019 Student of the Year in front of a packed ballroom Thursday night.

"I'm just full of happiness and beyond thankful for everyone that contributed," said Jambor just moments after being announced the winner.
