WEEK OF DECEMBER 10-16

MARK WITTCHOW, Onalaska

The junior goalie shut out Tomah (34 saves in a 1-0 victory) on December 13 and followed that up with an 18 save performance in a 5-1 win over LaCrescent on December 15 to earn POTW honors. Wittchow started the year as a back-up, but was pressed into action when starter Mitch Thompson fell to injury. Wittchow stopped all 16 shots in his debut on December 8 against Beaver Dam.

WEEK OF DECEMBER 3-9

DAVID JACOBSON, Janesville

Jacobson--a junior--earned POTW honors for his efforts in a 28 save shutout (7-0) of Sun Prairie on December 4 and by making 26 stops in a 5-1 victory over Middleton on December 6.
