Wisconsin Prep Hockey

The CCM Minnesota High School Hockey National Invitational Tournament (old Chicago Showcase) will be held April 19-22, 2012 in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Team Wisconsin will select the top 20 qualifying high school seniors to represent our state at this event. As its name implies, the CCM Minnesota HS Hockey National Invitational Tournament will be one of the most heavily-scouted high school tournaments in the United States. Your greatest opportunity to be exposed to scouts and coaches from all levels of hockey (junior, college, and even professional) could likely be at this National Invitational Tournament!

If you want to go to the “next level,” Team Wisconsin at the CCM Minnesota HS Hockey National Invitational Tournament may be your best bet.

In order to qualify there are rules that must be adhered to. In general, in order to qualify for the Showcase you must meet the following criteria:

• Be a graduating Wisconsin high school senior
• Compete in at least 70% of your team’s 2011-2012 games
• Be chosen to represent your section at and participate in the 2011-12 Wisconsin Senior Class Tournament in Waupun on March 23-25, 2012. Information on the Senior Tournament is posted on Wisconsin Prep Hockey website.
• Earn an invitation to and attend the 2012 Team Wisconsin Tryout Camp to be held March 31-April 1, 2012. (invitations will be made based on, among other factors, your performance at the Senior Class Tournament)
• Be selected to Team Wisconsin (20 players and alternates)
• Attend and participate in all Team Wisconsin 2011 functions including:
  • Team Wisconsin Training Camp, April 13-15, 2012 (site TBA)
  • “Pre-Showcase” practice on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 (site TBA)
  • CCM Minnesota HS Hockey National Invitational Tournament

 The staff of Team Wisconsin 2012 is committed to providing a unique hockey experience for select players and their families and to provide each player with the maximum hockey exposure that we can. If you are serious about hockey and are interested in the Team Wisconsin experience, it is critical that you arrange your spring schedule (travel, vacations, prom, etc.) so as to be able to attend all Team Wisconsin events.

• Open to ALL Junior & Senior girls
• This is a USA Hockey Sanctioned Event
• Teams will be developed based on region and number of registrants-all participants will receive a jersey
• MUST BE registered with USA Hockey (Can register on-site)
• MUST have a copy of USA Hockey Consent to Treat form upon arrival
• All players will be evaluated for Minnesota/CCM Reebok National Invitational Tournament

Invitations for the NIT will be made by March 8th
To accept invitation you MUST BE able to commit to the full weekend
