Boys Team Wisconsin
The CCM Minnesota High School Hockey National Invitational Tournament will be held April 24-28, 2013 in Plymouth, Minnesota. Team Wisconsin will select the top 20 players to represent our state at this event.
As its name implies, the CCM Minnesota HS Hockey National Invitational Tournament will be one of the most heavily scouted high school tournaments in the United States. Your greatest opportunity to be exposed to scouts and coaches from all levels of hockey (junior, college, and even professional) could likely be at this National Invitational Tournament! If you want to go to the “next level”, Team Wisconsin at the CCM Minnesota HS Hockey National Invitational Tournament may be your best bet.
In order to qualify there are rules that must be adhered to. In general, in order to qualify for the NIT you must meet the following criteria:
- Compete in, 70% of your team’s 2012-2013 games. Any exceptions must be approved by the Team Wisconsin staff.
- SENIORS - Be chosen to represent your section and participate in the 2012-13 Wisconsin Senior Class Tournament in Waupun on March 22-24, 2013. For additional information on the Senior Tournament please contact your high school coach.
- JUNIORS – Must be born in 1995, a junior in high school, and play for your high school team. Since you are not eligible to participate in the WAHA/USA player development process we are giving you an opportunity to tryout for the TW NIT team. In order to be considered you need to contact either Dave Witting or Tim Ebner and let us know you would like to participate in the process. You will also need to have a letter of recommendation from your high school head coach. All this needs to be done before Sunday March 17, 2013.
- Earn an invitation to and attend the 2013 Team Wisconsin Tryout Camp to be held March 29-30, 2013 in Tomah.
- Be selected to Team Wisconsin (20 players and alternates)
- Attend and participate in all Team Wisconsin 2013 functions including:
- Team Wisconsin Pre-Tournament Practices, April 14 and April 21, 2013 in TBA
- “Pre-NIT ” practice on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in Plymouth, MN

The staff of Team Wisconsin 2013 is committed to providing a unique hockey experience for select players and their families and to provide each player with the maximum hockey exposure that we can.
