Girls Development Camp Retooled with Team Wisconsin Tryouts for a Unified Experience

Camp Changes

Team WI Girls Hockey Program Coordinator, Scott Roethlisberger was kind enough to share with WiPH some of the changes in store for campers this year:

"The camp itself has been redeveloped after listening to some concerns from past campers to be a long weekend camp and much lower cost.  To eliminate other weekends for tryouts all registered campers can also be evaluated for next season Team WI Girls teams at no extra cost to them.  We hope to provide 3 teams again: U19, U16 and U14 (Freshman)."

Camp Information

For over 10 years Wisconsin Amateur Hockey (WAHA) has offered player development camps for girls between the ages of 14-18, this year the program will be available for all players with birth years from 1993-1997.  WAHA will be offering a high performance player development camp in conjunction with evaluations for Team Wisconsin U19 and U16 before and after teams.  All players are invited to attend this camp, regardless of team affiliation or interest in TW as this will be an excellent opportunity to receive quality coaching and instruction.  Players interested in participating on Team Wisconsin MUST attend this camp, as this will be the only tryout opportunity for TW.  This camp is open to ALL players in the state (must be a WI resident), but registration will be limited.  Note: this is only a day camp and lodging is not included.
