Wings Win Admiral Cup!
The WINGS Hockey Coop wins the 2017 Admiral Cup 2-1 over Madison Edgewood on a shootout goal by Senior Kevin Broda.
The WINGS outshot Edgewood 38-18 yet could not get more than one puck in the net during regulation. Edgewood goalie Ben Cagelski stopped 37 shots (.974) on his way to being named the first star of the game. WINGS Goalie Garret Larson was second star with 17 saves and Kevin Broda got the third star for his game winner.
The WIngs defeated Appleton(5-1) and Middleton(4-1) to make it to the Championship game.
WINGS play Wausau West this coming Friday at 6:45pm at Naga-Waukee Ice Arena in Delafield, WI.
