Section 2 notched three goals in the opening period and added four in the middle stanza while cruising to an 8-0 whitewashing of Section 4 in the SCT third place game Sunday afternoon in Waupun.
S2 got goals from Eric Swenson, Carson Lemanski, and Ethan Wolfe in the first period for the 3-0 lead.
Jacob Schafter scored two of his three goals in the second, along with tallies from Aslan Akervik and Steven Scheurer to give S2 a 'one touchdown' lead.
Schafter finished his hattie with the third period's only score.
Jacob Storms (14) and Brendan Thomas (8) combined for the 22-save shutout.
On the other end, Dylan Stein (21) and Henry Baribeau (21) teamed for 42 stops.
