Since the calendar flipped to 2017, the Sun Prairie boys’ hockey team has been on a roll.
Momentum stayed on the Cardinals’ side on a road trip to play the Fox Cities Stars on Saturday night.
Sun Prairie scored three goals in a span of 5 minutes, 14 seconds and goalie Sam Dunn stopped 29 of 30 shots as the Cardinals downed Fox Cities 4-1 at the Tri-County Ice Arena.
Sun Prairie is now 4-0 in the new year.
“It was a good team win,” Dunn said. “We’re cooking really well now. We’re moving our feet out there, making plays and it’s fun to play in -- fun to watch.”
