The consolation game of the Gobbler Cup started quickly as Abigail Stow scored 46 seconds into the game with Lauren Carmody and Annika Olson assisting on the goal.  Stow increased the lead to two at 5:59 of the first with Lauren Carmondy and Ava Kison assisting on the play.  Kison completed the first period scoring with 7 minutes remaining in the period as she converted a short-handed goal.  Marie Detert had 8 saves for the Wildcats, while Annamarie Holtz had 3 saves for the Stars.

Stow increased the lead to 4 for the Stars at 4:04 of the second with an assist from Cameron Carmody.  Ava Kison completed the scoring for the game at 10:32 of the second period with Abigail Stow and Lauren Carmody assisting.  Detert had 11 saves in the period and Holtz had 9 saves.

The third period found Detert collecting another 8 saves for a game total of 27.  Holtz had 4 saves for a game total of 12.
