Milwaukee Blaze to serve youth in Milwaukee, New Berlin, West Allis

Milwaukee, June 9, 2016 –

A new hockey association serving youth in the Milwaukee, New Berlin and West Allis areas was announced today.  The new group, The Milwaukee Area Youth Hockey Association (MAYHA), was formerly part of the Pettit National Ice Center and has restructured to be an independent 501(c)3 organization. The new parent-led group plans to operate under the name Milwaukee Blaze Hockey.

Todd Gehrmann, President of the Milwaukee Blaze said, “We are excited to be our own independent organization with an excellent USA Hockey-trained coaching staff while still being able to be affiliated with such a strong brand as the Pettit.  We will continue to rent ice and be based at the National Hockey Center and continue to serve hockey players from mini-mites (age 4) all the way through high school.”
