The U19 Team WI girls were invited this past weekend to take part in the Girls MN Elite League. The league is the equivalent to the Boys Elite League that the Boys' Team Wisconsin plays in.

Based on the team's play, Coach Dave Witting has been given an invitation for the U19 team to play not only in the Elite League next season, but also the pre-season tournament in St. Cloud, MN and the Bauer NIT in October. Team WI will also participate in this year Bauer NIT.

The Elite weekends give the TW girls not only good competition but also exposure to College coaches and scouts. This opportunity only helps legitimize the Girls Team WI program.
