McCoy comes up big late to force tie

The TW Seniors matchup with the Michigan Juniors saw more of what
they played against last night against Minnesota Seniors.

But this time they scored. Two goals to be exact.

Matt McCoy made 19 saves and TW couldn't hold off a late push and settled for a 2-2 tie against Michigan Juniors.

TW got the early momentum in the game with a goal by Dylan Ross, who was open on the backside for an easy goal.

TW ended up tied again as it took only 32 seconds for Michigan to score on a goal by Adam Pitters from the mid slot.

TW came back in the second and got their lead back when on a 2 on 1 Alex
Nagel got the puck high slot, delayed on the shot then scored with over 10
minutes left in the second period. Michigan controlled play for most of the
second period but TW lead 2-1 after 2 periods.

The third period saw TW kill a couple power plays and Matt McCoy come up huge on a couple saves but Michigan finally tied it up on a goal by Alec DeLuca.

Michigan looked for the knock out punch but McCoy stood tall and got a few bounces with time running down for the 2 all tie.

Both teams thru pool play are 1-1-1 and TW will play Sunday  morning at 10:30.

Michigan goalie Brett Miller ended with 22 saves.
