TW girls pulled off a pair of wins on Friday, starting with a 5-3 win over Atlantic before many of us even began our work day and culminating with a 13-1 blowout of Team Illinois a few hours later.

TW went ahead for good with a goal by Natasha Wanless with just over a minute left in the first.

That score lasted for ten minutes until Atlantic scored again to cut the lead to 3-2, but Wanless scored her second with 23 seconds left in the period to make it 4-2.

Bryar Brooks made it 5-2 three minutes into the final period, only to see Atlantic match that 38 seconds later for the final goal of the contest.

TW held a slight 28-25 shot edge in the game, with Rebecca Binder stopping 22 shots in the win.

Elizabeth Bauer added a pair of assists in the win for TW.
