Badger Thunder and Metro Lynx opened Badger Conference play at the Reedsburg Area Community Arena.  The Lynx scored 40 seconds into the game when Lizzy Coneybear put the puck in the net with an assist from Kara Epping.  Gabby Christensen had 16 saves in the period for the Badger Thunder. Sydnee McKersie collected 2 saves for the Lynx.

Neither team scored in the second period.  McKersie had 2 saves in the second period, while Christensen had 13 saves.

The third period scoring opened with a shorthanded goal by the Lynx's Vivian Hacker with an assist from Julia Dragoo at 6:17 of the third.  The Lynx increased the lead to three at the 11:26 mark on a goal by Kara Epping with an assist from Lizzy Coneybear.  The Badger Thunder get on the board with 4:05 remaining in the game as Jessica Patton assisted on Paige Pawlak's goal.  The Lynx completed the scoring at 14:29 of the third, when McKenzie Imhoff put the puck in the goal with an assist from Carly Baltes.  Gabby Christensen had 13 saves to finish with 42, while McKersie had 5 saves for a game total of 9.
