The Tiger boys hockey team will be under new leadership in the upcoming season.

The high school recently named BRF graduate Jeremy McNulty to take over the head coaching spot previously held by Jared Johnson, who moved out of the district.

McNulty, a longtime player and assistant coach, said he looks forward to continuing the Black River Falls co-op’s direction and developing the team into a faster, more offensive-oriented group.

“I like the direction that the team has been going for the last few years,” said McNulty, a 1989 BRF grad who has played and coached hockey at all levels before taking over the program. “I believed it was time for me to try and apply for the head coaching spot.”
