UP native takes over Ice Bears' reigns

I am proud to introduce the Green Bay Area Co-op's new Head Coach - Brandon Erkkila.

Brandon is honored and excited to take over as Head Coach of the Ice Bears.  Brandon has a high degree of respect for the tremendous legacy that has been created by the past coaches and athletes.

He brings with him a tremendous amount of hockey knowledge and experience that comes from his playing and coaching years.

Brandon is originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and played hockey at all levels from age 4-21 as a goaltender. While attending Northern Michigan University, he helped the Division 1 team out as a practice goaltender.

At age 21 he coached his first team and has been coaching for seven years. Brandon's last four seasons have been spent as the goaltending coach for Notre Dame Academy.

Brandon also runs his own goaltending clinic.
