Nathan Siclovan stops 38 shots in 3-1 win

Team WI Seniors scored three times in the last five minutes to defeat North Dakota 3-1 Saturday afternoon in the CCM NIT tourney.

Outshot 29-25 after two periods and trailing 1-0, TW got a goal from AJ Romanoski with 4:46 left to tie the game at one. Cole Paskus earned an assist on the play.

Twenty-four seconds later, Jacob Cox scored, with an assist to Wyatt Dove, for the go-ahead goal.

Then with just over a minute left while on the PK, Connor Freeman scored a shortie, with an assist to Ty Pelton-Byce for the 3-1 final.

Nathan Siclovan stopped 38 of 39 shots in an outstanding effort for TW. Taner Bender had 35 saves for North Dakota.
