Girls NIT (Game 4): TW flies past Michigan 7-0

TW girls outshoot foes by 72-7 tally

The TW girls won their third consecutive game, hardly breaking a sweat in defeating Michigan 7-0. Shots in the contest were 72-7 in favor of T-Dub.

Maddie Rowe (St. Croix Valley) and Sloan Sullivan (USM) scored in the first to give TW a 2-0 lead. 

In the middle period, Katie Detert (Northern Edge) and Amber Heidenreich (Hayward/Spooner) tallied to increase the margin to 4-0.

The final period saw Michaela Isetts-Williams (Jr. Admirals), Courtney Wittig (Bay Area), and Jacyn Reeves (Onalaska) add goals for the final 7-0 score.

Nicole Unsworth (USM) had two assists for TW.

Erin Connolly (Lakeshore) had seven saves for TW in the win. Olivia Portillo was fairly busy on her end for Michigan, stopping 65 of 72 shots.
