Bay Area girls team seeking head varsity coach

HEAD VARSITY GIRLS HOCKEY COACH

Bay Area Co-op

Green Bay East High School is currently taking applications for the position of Head Varsity Girls Hockey Coach for the Bay Area Co-op team for the upcoming 2015-16 season.

A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate or will possess:

1. Coaching experience; with head coaching background preferred. 

2. A coaching and learning philosophy that includes thoughts on the role of athletics, winning and losing, competition, players, school, and community.

3. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

4. A leadership role in developing summer opportunities so as to ensure player development within the hockey program.

5. The ability to effectively plan and organize scheduling, budget and transportation demands within the program in cooperation with the Activities Director.

6. The ability to work diligently with the athletic staff to assist all student-athletes within the hockey program to maximize their academic as well as athletic potential.

7. The ability to support Booster Club efforts with regard to membership and fund-raising.
