Hilltoppers head to Madison for fourth straight year

Chazlyn Anderson and Jacyn Reeves lead the way


Sun Prairie Cougars Sectional Three Runner-up

Onalaska was in the sectional final looking for their fourth straight trip to Madison.  Sun Prairie was looking to return for their second time with the first time being four years ago.

Both teams were doing an excellent job at limiting shots on goal in the first period.  Alexis Peterson scored at 1:25 of the first period with an assist from Catlin Siegel giving the Cougars a 1-0 lead.  Jacyn Reeves tied the game with an unassisted goal at 11:30 of the first period.  The period ended with 5 saves for each goalie, Dani Deltgen of Sun Prairie and Skylar Dannhoff of Onalaska.

The second period saw of few more shots on goal for each team.  Chazlyn Anderson scored at 5:33 of the second with Jacyn Reeves and Morgan Gargaro assisting to put the Hilltoppers on top 2-1.  Dani Deltgen had 10 saves in the period, while Skylar Dannhoff had 14 saves.

The game was put away in the third, when Chazlyn Anderson scored an empty net goal with 47 seconds remaining in the game with an assist from Jacyn Reeves.
