This season Wisconsin Prep Hockey decided to do a charity fundraiser for Cancer Research.  We chose two places for the money to be given:

• McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research
• American Family Children's Hospital - Patient Family Fund

Delmar Scanlon would arrange with the community having the most money donated and designated towards their high school hockey team to attend a home game and have his head shaved.  The University School of Milwaukee managed to raise the most money.

Del will travel to Uihlein Ice Arena on Friday, February 13th.  The USM Wildcats girls varsity will be playing the Onalaska Hilltoppers at 5:00 PM and the USM boys varsity will host the Onalaska Hilltoppers at 7:30 PM.  Del will have his head shaved in between games.

While the opportunity to have Del's head shaved at your home game has been determined, WIPH will continue to take donations at http://www.wisconsinprephockey.net/charity until the last day of the sectional finals on Saturday, February 28, 2015.  The money will be given to the two designated organizations the week of the WIAA State Hockey Championships.

We want to sincerely thank those who have donated and encourage more to donate between now and the end of February.
