MADISON, Wis. -- Defenseman Jake Bunz (Middleton, Wisconsin) has joined the Wisconsin men's hockey program, effective immediately, head coach Mike Eaves announced today.

"Jake has real good mobility as a defenseman," Eaves remarked. "He's a good skater who moves well laterally. He's sees the ice well and has good skill. 

"For him to be a bona fide college player he's going to have to learn our systems and learn how to play away from the puck."
