TW drops 2-1 decision in semifinal match

Team Wisconsin could not come back from a 2-0 deficit for a second straight game and as a result, dropped a tough 2-1 game to Victory Honda in a semifinal matchup at USA Hockey Nationals Saturday evening.

Zach Zech scored in the first period and Grant Dukus scored on a power play midway through the second to give Honda the 2-0 lead.

Jake Bresser scored with five minutes left in the final period to cut the lead to 2-1, but TW could get no closer as their season ended.

Ryan Wischow made 20 saves in the game as TW outshot their foes by a margin of 42-22.
