Camp will feature D3 coaches from the Midwest

For the second straight year, dozens of top female players from around the Midwest will participate in the Midwest Women's Collegiate Hockey Exposure Camp, to be held again at the Cornerstone Community Center in DePere, WI the weekend of June 27-29.

Last year, 43 players worked out under the guidance of five D3 coaches and two others with many years of coaching experience at different levels--Mike Cowan and Dave Witting.

This year, the coaches expected to participate are:

  • Rob Morgan, St. Norbert College
  • Jamie Kivi, Marian University
  • Jim Ingman, Concordia University-Wisconsin
  • Ann Ninneman, UW-Stevens Point
  • Steve DeBus, Hamline University
  • Jeff Polski, St. Catherine University
  • Danielle Syrowik, Finlandia University

If you will be in Grade 10, Grade 11, or Grade 12 during the 2014–2015 school year and desire to play collegiate hockey, this camp is for you!

Registration is on Friday, June 27 (2:00-4:00pm) and departure is set for 12:30pm, Sunday, June 29.

All camp participants will receive a camp jersey and socks; one hour of practice ice time and three games; a fitness presentation and seminars with Division I and Division III college coaches, plus a dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday.

Cost is $250, or $225 if paid by April 1.
