Fond du Lac- The Warbirds (2-2-1, 1-1) evened the game at 1 early in the third period when Kendalynn Acheson tallied her first varsity goal. Madi Zipp and Kara Winter assisted on the tally.

But the Ice Bears needed just 24 seconds of overtime to net the game winner.

Taryn Immel made 36 saves in goal for the Warbirds.

“They’re currently ranked fourth in the state so I thought overall we played very well,” Warbirds coach Duane Woeshnick said. “We definitely had chances to win we just didn’t get it done tonight.
