Vieth, Skibba and Dixon tabbed for stellar play

Although none of the three were named Player of the Month for September in the North American Hockey League, Austin Vieth, Brett Skibba and Cody Dixon all turned in outstanding performances that earned them honorable mention status for the season's opening month.

Vieth (Janesville) scored ten points (5g-5a) and is currently tied for fifth in NAHL scoring. He has two goals and two assists on the man advantage, while notching two game-winners.

Janesville coach Joe Dibble is impressed with Vieth's play thus far.

"The work ethic and intensity that Austin brings to the ice is off the charts," Dibble said.

Skibba (Springfield) has tallied seven points (4g-3a), with all three helpers coming on the power play.

Dixon (Springfield) has two goals and two assists for four points, including a goal and an assist on the power play.
