TW U18 wins a pair during pre-season weekend

Team will open regular season next weekend



Team Wisconsin U18 boys travelled to Greenheck Fieldhouse in Schofield on Labor Day weekend and worked hard in winning two of three games from a trio of opponents.

Saturday morning's contest resulted in a 3-1 win over the Duluth Wings. Griff Jeszka, Brady Bollinger, and Steven Phillips tallied goals for TW. Goalie Nate Teuscher made 23 stops in earning the win.

The second game on Saturday ended with a 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Blades. Zac Keryluk and Luke Davison scored for Team Wisconsin. Jake Kupsky stopped 31 shots in net for TW.

Sunday's finale showed a 5-1 win over the Chicago Fury. Goals were scored by Jeszka, Keryluk, Casey Jerry, Charley Graaskamp, and Jason Reynolds. Teuscher and Kupsky split time in net and combined for 31 saves.

TW will open their Upper Midwest HS Elite League season next weekend with three games at the Fogerty Arena in Blaine, MN.
