BROOKFIELD — Colin Masek ranks fifth on the Brookfield Stars in scoring.
Harrison Kennedy is seventh. On Tuesday night, the two Brookfield seniors resembled NHL standouts Connor McDavid and Nikita Kucherov.
Masek had two goals and two assists, while Kennedy had a pair of goals to power the Stars to a 7-1 win over Arrowhead in a WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinal held at The Ponds of Brookfield. The Stars (19-5-1) now meet Kettle Moraine/Mukwonago/Oconomowoc (14-7-1) in a sectional final Friday at 7 p.m. at Eble Ice Arena in Muskego.
